Also, be sure to tune in to special KCET programs celebrating Independence Day. First, explore the history of Native Americans who have served in the United States military with Defending the Homeland, airing at 2 p.m. Then, uncover the story behind Francis Scott Key's creation of "The Star-Spangled Banner" and learn about the role of music and patriotism during The War of 1812 in the independent documentary, Anthem, on at 2:30 p.m.
