Volunteers are one of many valuable human resources at KCET. Volunteers are what make KCET infinitely more valuable to the community. We understand that everyone has something unique to contribute and we offer a variety of ways you can assist. Experience is not necessary to volunteer- just enthusiasm and commitment. We will provide training in exchange for your time and commitment. Volunteering your time is a great way to meet new people, gain valuable job experience and have some community spirited fun!

Daytime Volunteering
KCET's daytime Volunteers perform various work duties to support the work of staff. Assignments may include: mailings, phone, filing, special events, data entry, special projects, tours, and pledge drives.

Pledge Volunteering
Approximately four times a year, KCET conducts pledge drives as a fundraising effort to generate membership contributions. During these drives, we need volunteers to be part of a phone bank. Volunteers are trained to take pledge calls from our viewers. Most pledge drives require volunteers to work evening hours and weekends.

The rewards for Volunteering at the KCET Volunteer Center are many! We offer free on-the-lot secured parking; annual Volunteer recognition and awards luncheons; make new friends; an opportunity to gain new skills; and serve your community.
